Use symmetry as a build aid
Many game-room patterns naturally give you a centerline, matching corners, or repeated dots. That structure lowers the chance of drifting off the chart and makes the project easier to resume after a break.
When a build includes pips, buttons, or a trophy stem, place those repeated forms as anchors. Once they are correct, the surrounding fill colors become much easier to trust.
- Check mirrored rows in pairs instead of treating every cell as new information.
- Reserve accent colors for marks that communicate the object's purpose.
