Perler Bead Keychains — Ring Placement and Materials

Choose a small bead pattern, check ring placement, occupied cells and edge clearance, then download the annotated chart and materials. Geometry checks do not certify strength.

Keychain pattern and attachment plan

Geometry and your measurements only. An edge candidate is not a strength rating. The diagram does not model bead-hole shape, double wire, knots, friction or fused joints. Make a real sample before use.

Click a cell to choose the attachment point; arrow keys move one cell.

Enter valid values, including the actual hole and connector measurements.

Pattern and hardware checklist

RGB references are not calibrated manufacturer codes.

Open only this pattern in the workbench; the attachment plan stays in your downloads.

    Make and check one keychain

    1. Choose a compact pattern and check its grid dimensions at the intended bead pitch. The preview is a chart, not a life-size print; keep the exported dimensions with the plan.
    2. Select an occupied outer cell supported by neighboring beads. Compare direct ring, jump-ring and cord hardware counts. An empty center cell is not a bead hole; the actual hole is inside a bead.
    3. Measure the hole in a cooled, fused sample and the connector you intend to use. Enter both values. Positive nominal clearance does not prove that a bent or doubled ring can pass through.
    4. Export the chart and the color checklist for the selected quantity. Match RGB references to your own bead stock; reserve the listed hardware and reusable boards separately.
    5. Follow your bead manufacturer’s fusing instructions; an adult handles the iron. Let the piece cool, then inspect the chosen hole before fitting hardware. Do not force a connector through a closed hole.
    6. Assemble one trial piece with the real connector, check its closure and inspect the supporting beads. Only then repeat the design. This page has no physical assembly test or load rating.
