Working order and instructions

  1. US terms. A single-crochet cell is one sc; a C2C cell is one three-dc tile plus its chain space. Every background cell is worked, not transparent or skipped.
  2. SC begins with width + 1 chains, then sc from the second chain. Later rows use ch 1 and turn; this chain is not a stitch. Work the first and last sc, without adding a second turning chain at row end.
  3. C2C uses the 6:3 dc method. A first or increasing tile starts ch 6, dc in chain 4 from the hook and the next two chains. Each further tile joins the previous ch-3 space, ch 3 and 3 dc in that space.
  4. Rectangle edges are separate: a decreasing start slips across the three dc and into the ch-3 space before ch 3 and 3 dc. A closing end joins the next space without making another tile. Follow each row’s setup and ending, not just its tile count.
  5. Change color on the last pull-through of the preceding stitch or tile. Manage bobbins and joins yourself. Counts describe colored stitches or tile bodies, not yarn length, bobbin needs, carrying strands or exact edge colors.
  6. Measure SC stitches/rows and C2C blocks separately per 10 cm. Blank gauge means unknown size. No hook substitution, yarn quantity, shrinkage or physical sample is certified.
  7. Repeats copy the whole original rectangle; seams and borders are not automatically redesigned. Original reference RGB colors are not manufacturer yarn codes or calibrated physical colors.
  8. The starting corner changes reading order, not the artwork. Exports retain identity, technique, revision, palette edition, gauge, repeats and credit. Row marks are temporary, not saved Studio progress.
