Knitting Charts — Gauge, Repeats and Float Checks
Choose an original two-color graph, use your measured gauge, inspect real working rows and download the same chart with its color and source records.
Original two-color patterns
Physical-size filters exclude patterns without a complete measured gauge for the chosen method. Round width means circumference, not diameter.

Symbolic two-color graph only: no garment shaping, yarn length, tension or seamless-fabric guarantee.
Thin grid lines mark stitches; highlighted lines mark full-pattern repeats. Chart Y counts from top to bottom; working rows count from bottom to top.
Cast on the chart width separately. Knit RS rows; purl WS rows. Keep strands on the fabric wrong side. No automatic float traps or shaping.

Working order and row notes
- The chart shows the right side from top to bottom; work begins at its bottom. Flat stockinette alternates knit RS right-to-left and purl WS left-to-right. In rounds, knit every chart round right-to-left. Cast-on, bind-off, borders and garment shaping are separate tasks.
- Float spans count skipped stitches between uses of one color, without automatic traps. Round-boundary checks use the actual next chart round, not a copy of the current round. If a color is absent in either adjacent round, its join is unknown and needs manual review. Flat tails and inter-row carries are not certified.
- Repeats copy the complete graph. Boundaries are shown but not promised seamless; knitted rounds may have a color jog, and crochet stitches can slant. Compare your actual sample before making a fitted item. Use separate measured flat and round stitch/row gauge; reference RGB is not a manufacturer yarn code.
- Counts distinguish visible stitches, tapestry carried-under stitches and knitting floats. They are not yarn lengths. Temporary row marks are included in downloaded plans but are not saved Studio progress. Every export retains original ID, revision, color edition, creator and license.
