Pixel Art Maker & Editor - Draw and Export Transparent PNG

Start a blank pixel canvas or open a PNG, draw with brush, eraser and fill, mirror strokes, replace colors, undo and redo, and save exact RGBA PNGs with an independent editable project.

Independent pixel editor, not the bead Studio. Up to 128 x 128 pixels, 256 RGBA colors and 20 undo steps. Imported pixels are not silently resized or quantized. PNG exports keep the exact file-sample RGBA values, including hidden RGB at alpha zero; checkerboards, selection and cursor are preview-only.

All drawing, PNG processing and drafts stay in this browser. Each tool has an isolated project namespace. Drafts use a separate IndexedDB database, not Studio storage or the server account database.

Editable pixel canvas

100%

This is a truly blank transparent canvas. Choose a color and draw, or open your own PNG.

Focus the canvas: arrows move the cursor; Enter or Space paints/fills/selects; Backspace erases; Ctrl/Cmd+Z undoes, Shift+Z or Ctrl/Cmd+Y redoes. You can also enter X/Y and use the current tool without dragging.

Use Brush to draw with one finger. A second pointer or cancelled gesture discards the pending stroke. Switch to Pan / scroll for navigation and native pinch zoom. Drawing commits only when a stroke finishes.

Canvas and drafts

PNG: non-interlaced 8-bit RGB/RGBA/gray or 1/2/4/8-bit indexed; at most 128 x 128 and 256 distinct RGBA colors, under 5 MiB. No APNG or 16-bit input. JSON: this editor protocol, under 8 MiB, with undo/redo. Metadata, color-profile rendering and EXIF orientation are not imported. Earlier drafts are not overwritten.

Painting, filling, replacing and erasing are limited to the selection when one exists. Removing a color used by any pixel is blocked; replace it first. Symmetry applies to brush and eraser strokes, not to flood fill.
